Dear Parents,
Welcome to Paul Laurence Dunbar K-8 Center, “Home of the Tigers.” The 2022-2023 brings us new possibilities; renew commitment, and a re-directed focus. We are committed to providing our students with a quality education in which they can be challenged, be engaged, and are encouraged to inquire. We will continue to increase academic achievement amongst all students by fostering a rich, positive educational setting where all students can achieve their maximum potential. We hope to instill in each student the drive and passion to become lifelong learners and advocates for their education. We will challenge our students to become innovators and creators of new ideas so that we can support them achieving their personal academic goal.
We would like to extend an invitation to you to attend all school programs, become an active participant in the PTA and its volunteer programs, and become involved in continuing to make Paul L. Dunbar K-8 Center one of the finest institutions in Miami-Dade County Public Schools.
